TheStadiumBusiness ASIA (#SAS26) and TheTicketingBusiness ASIA (#TAS26), and the launch of That’s Entertainment! ASIA (#TEA26) in Hong Kong brought together more than 350 venue operators, ticketing leaders, promoters, and event producers from across APAC, proving why the region is a powerhouse for the global live entertainment sector. The co-located programme focused on practical strategies to grow venues, ticketing operations, live content, and audiences.
A major highlight was experiencing the brand-new Kai Tak Sports Park first-hand. Through expert-led technical tours and keynote insights on integrated precinct planning, delegates saw how multi-purpose venue design – extending far beyond the stadium bowl into retail, hospitality, and lifestyle spaces – is setting a new benchmark for the region’s experience economy.
Sessions tackled the day-to-day challenges of running major venues, featuring C-suite insights from DHL Stadium, GBK Sports Complex, and Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia. Delegates also explored ticketing traffic control and bot defence with Queue-it, AI-driven event discovery, cross-border marketing across Southeast Asia, and an exclusive look at Hanoi’s upcoming 135,000-seat VinFast – Trong Dong stadium project. Away from the conference sessions, networking on the Dorsett Kai Tak roof terrace and the trackside social at Happy Valley Racecourse gave everyone a chance to connect and share ideas.
