The commercial impact is already visible. Kai Tak Sports Park reported that Kai Tak Mall recorded an overall year-on-year increase of around 40% in both footfall and sales during the first quarter of 2026, with major sports and entertainment events helping drive additional visitor traffic and spending across the precinct.
