TheStadiumBusiness’ inaugural ASIA meeting brought together venue leaders, rightsholders, developers, promoters and solutions providers from across the region. This new, invitation-only gathering is already delivering new connections and new partnerships.

We explored topics as diverse as: esports audiences; mass endurance events; Sport for All as a driver of venue design; frictionless security tech; seamless fan experiences; the Chinese stadium market; the future of Japan’s venues; Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament… as well as Cantonese cuisine, plum wine, calligraphy, reed knotting and even découpage!

And all in the presence of Kai Tak Sports Park, the under-construction 28-hectare sports and entertainment precinct that will set the standard for new developments across the world’s fastest-growing economies. Our special thanks to Populous and ASM Global for helping us bring this event together.

“Thank you to everyone who joined us in Hong Kong, added to the discussions and supported our launch in the region,” enthuses Ian Nuttall, Founder, TheStadiumBusiness. “It’s clear there is an appetite and a need for this meeting as the region’s venue development sector advances. Here’s to next October, more venues from across the region, and more connections at SAS24.”
